Focus Question 4: How Do We Preserve and Improve Human Rights?
Human rights remain an important issue in the 21st century. Increased interdependency between countries and regions, changes in the way we communicate with each other and the increasing prominence on the global agenda of climate change and its affects mean that perceptions and definitions of human rights may need to change in order to remain relevant. What are the emerging issues for the preservation and extension of human rights around the world? What can you do to make a difference? These questions will be explored in the following activities:
